The partners only one bank can reach

Several credit cards tucked in a jeans back pocket

In short: among Chase, Amex, Capital One, Citi and Bilt, Delta and ANA are Amex only, American and Thai are Citi only, and Alaska, Hawaiian and Amtrak are Bilt only. United, Southwest and Hyatt are Chase or Bilt. Checked October 20, 2026.

If you mostly fly one airline, start there and work backwards to the card. For most airlines you have three or four banks to choose from. For these, you have one or two.

What this means for picking a card

You don't always need the airline's own miles

Airlines in the same alliance book each other's flights. So a "one bank only" airline is often bookable another way:

Prices and availability differ by program, so check before you move points. Full list of partners, by bank: where your points can go.
